The SPAM- and Virus-filtering systems are clearly overloaded, the server had to be rebooted this morning.
We’ve invested considerably in our spam- and virus-filtering systems the last week and performance is already improving. Please send us your feedback in case you notice problems with the new filtering-systems.

Cogent uplink went down about 15 minutes ago due to a router error. The linecard will be rebooted, cogent connectivity should be up again in a few minutes. Datacenter connectivity was never affected, as lines are redundant. UPDATE: Cogent uplink is now active again, full redundancy of lines is restored.
The cns1 nameserver (IP: 84.33.0.251) has been rebooted and is now online again; the short downtime caused some latency with SMTP-services on some servers that use this server as auxiliary nameserver.
The CMS- and Blog-specialized server called “wh24special” suffered two downtimes due to a NFS-failure the last two nights; we are currently analyzing the problem and will keep you up-to-date. Switched to assymetrical routing, now incoming traffic from Telcom Italia comes over Level3, outgoing traffic goes over Cogent; this seems to solve the problem termporarily.
